COLORADO A CAPPELLA

SUMMER CAMP

The SUMMER VOCAL EXPERIENCE

FOR YOU!

Face Vocal Band is so excited to have you with us for our 2021 A cappella Summer Camp!  It will be a very exclusive group this year, and we can’t wait to see our campers for this very special summer camp

During the camp experience, participants will:
  • Create, rehearse, and perform fun, modern, cutting-edge arrangements within a “vocal band” (a cappella group) setting.
  • Learn how to work with others while maintaining social distance to create a full sound using only our voices.
  • Learn the basics of improvising, writing and arranging a cappella music.
  • Learn the elements needed to record a dynamic virtual performance.
  • Learn how to record and submit a video and voice recording for a final showcase to be presented with international a cappella artists, Face Vocal Band, during a live-stream concert!

Due to potential COVID-19 safety mandates, camp registration will likely be limited. We recommend registering sooner than later to guarantee a spot. Camp spots will be granted on a first come first serve basis

In addition, Face has shared the stage with Bon Jovi, Clint Eastwood, and the recent chart topping NBC Sing Off champions, Home Free.

Stephen Ross – as a performer, teacher, and contemporary a cappella vocal arranger, Stephen Ross is a multi-dimensional musician. Stephen performs as the counter-tenor and arranges music regularly for Face Vocal Band. His vocal arrangements are also performed throughout the state by high school and college vocal ensembles.  He has a degree in Music Education and Voice Performance from the University of Colorado.  He was the Director of Vocal Music, the Fine Arts Department Co-Chairperson, and the Visual & Performing Arts Academy Coordinator at Skyline High School, where he has taught Choir, Voice Performance, and Music Technology from 2003-2015.
